SUMMARY
A landable rocky world with spectacular sheer cliffs
DESCRIPTION

Lying on the border between the Formorian Frontier and the Abyss, on the well trodden path to Beagle point, lies Cheia Drye RU-V d3-2, a triple system with a class A Primary star. On the surface of rocky body A 8 F, visible from orbit, there can be seen a huge mountain range dominating the northern hemisphere.

view from orbit

Dropping out of orbital cruise, a pilot is greeted by a sheer wall of rock, 5 km from top to bottom, surrounded by higher peaks, with multi-level terrain and a wide canyon at its foot. The cliff extends east to west for many kilometers.

Landing in the valley below, the presence of local flora and the red-orange 100% Ammonia atmosphere make for a particularly scenic location, surrounded by some incredible topography, which calls to mind the Nordic legend of the Fortification of Asgard, the Celestial Stronghold of the Aesir

Concha

Other locations on the planetary surface have similar features. Surface Gravity is 0.14G

SRV

The system was originally discovered by Rangatang, likely during the Distant Worlds expedition, however this surface location was discovered by Aldebaran during the Gates to Eden expedition in 3310.
