Maledictus Luna (minorPOI), Dryu Chraea FH-D d12-49

Description:

In March 3303, the Mercury 7 Expedition met up at Waypoint Grissom on the only moon of this system, 3 a. Two Commanders lost their lives there in mysterious and unexplained accidents. Throughout the expedition, strange and persistent equipment malfunctions plagued the crew, which led to them believing that the moon was cursed. They vowed never to return here, and as a warning to others, they named the moon Maledictus Luna, meaning "Cursed Moon" in Latin.

3 a Lagrange Clouds

Undeterred by the curse, Commander BaldyEagle arrived at the system two years later, and discovered Q01-Type Anomalies at the Lagrange points. These mysterious entities will drain shields and cause HUD malfunctions if you approach closer than 135 meters, as well as causing the ship's thrusters to fire randomly. Once the shields are fully drained, the ship will start to take damage to hull.

Rather than falling victim to a curse, the unfortunate Commanders may have succumbed to these extremely rare phenomena.

Viride Calcite Plates

The two Proto-Lagrange clouds in the orbit of the moon also contain three varieties of Calcite Plates: Lindigoticum, Luteolum and Viride. These are also rare phenomena, as the only other location they've been found at (as of 3310) is the zone of Torus Molluscs in the Ovomly sector.
