SUMMARY
Rising 8.4km above the vast valley floor below, Ben Uaine gets it name from its vibrant green colour contrasted with the Martian-like orange of its surroundings. Exceptionally fun climb in an SRV.
DESCRIPTION

Visible from orbit, Ben Uaine is one of two bright green mountains towering high above its surrounding plains. Treating the explorer to a beautiful contrast of orange and green, the martian-like surface of the planet's relatively flat surface is broken abruptly by these two green giants.

The taller of the two, Ben Uaine, rises 8,400 kilometres from the surrounding valley surface and is a difficult climb. Smaller ships will have an easier time of it by landing on several of the false summits around the pinnacle of the emerald giant.

With a gravity of 0.14g, enterprising commanders can chance launching an SRV off the summit and enjoying a scenic view down to the valley floor below.

With the Heart and Soul nebulae visible from this position, in addition to the 2MASS cluster of luminous blue stars nearby, the view from the summit of Ben Uaine is nothing short of remarkable.
